Our Child Sponsorship Program unites friends and supporters from around the world in a concrete act of solidarity with Palestinian children and families. The program began in 1968 with a commitment to provide support to Palestinian children most affected by the isolation and dehumanizing living conditions imposed by the Israeli occupation. It continues to play a vital role in connecting Palestinian children with the outside world and in advancing Palestinians’ collective struggle globally through personal relationships.

As Palestinians we know that caring for our communities and meeting the needs of those most marginalized is an integral part of our freedom movement, both historically and today. To the friends and sponsors around the world who have been with us on this journey for years, offering hope and love, we extend our deepest gratitude and appreciation for playing such an important role in our people’s ongoing resilience.

Currently, as Israel continues its campaign of genocide in Gaza, the list of children in need of sponsorship is growing exponentially. Many children have lost their family members and are living with severe trauma from war and ongoing colonial violence. The Child Sponsorship Program provides direct relief for these children, and to meet the demands of this moment, Inash Al-Usra has committed to increasing the number of Gazan children in the program to 5000. Every bit of support from friends and allies around the world counts in helping us reach our goal.
